  • Started drawing cartoons at the age of 14, inspired by comic books of Tin Tin and Archie's.
  • R.K. Laxman (TOI) is my idol.
  • My first cartoon was published in "Loksatta" in 1985 at the age of 16. It was drawn on a political subject.
  • I never had a professional training on drawing cartoons, its just a gift of God.
  • I believe that a good sense of humour is necessary to draw and read cartoons. I draw cartoons based on my own experience and observations of the situation around me.
  • IIM-Ahmedabad published my cartoons in 2010 on their website www.paycheck.in
  • Prof. Dr. Kavita Singh – author of "Organization behaviour" and Professor for MBA course in Delhi University, has my cartoons on HR.
  • Interviewed on SONY and SET MAX on Rubi Bhatia Show in 2003.
  • Many in house magazines of corporate houses such as L&T, NTPC and Emerson Process used my cartoons.
  • My average speed to draw one cartoon caricature is just 30 seconds with pen and paper.
  • It is just a hobby right now. It may be my full time activity after I retire in 20 years down the line !
  • My favourite subjects to draw cartoons are Engineering Project consultants and Indian HR.
  • At present, I am busy in my professional career as Regional Business Head (India & Middle East) for a USA based company named United Electric Controls Co. (UE).
